June Overnight Pack Meeting |
Back to June Overnight Back to Activities |
Our Pack Meeting started with Scoutmaster Bright explaining the significance of the flag of the United States of America.
A number of flags which had performed various types of service and were worn had been given to the Scouts for a proper retirement. Troop and Pack 180 held a retirement ceremony to properly cremate and retire the flags.
Everyone stood at attention while taps was played until the old tattered and torn flags were completely consumed in our campfire.
It was then time for awards...
Three Wolf Badges were awarded...
...as well as two World Conservation Badges.
Four boys received their Arrow of Light.
Many other pins and belt loops were awarded. See the Pack 180 CDROM for more pictures.
Troop 180 then graduated five of Pack 23 and 180's Webelos into the Boy Scouts with a bridging ceremony.
The Pack then went back to the campfire for marshmallows, skits, and stories.
